“My mama always said life was like a box if chocolates.
You never know what you’re gonna get.”
Truth be told,
Life isn’t written out for all to know
And never came with a brochure.
It’s the ups and downs that keep us going;
It makes it all worth while.
Life is an adventure,
Difficult at times,
Terribly unpredictable,
And whatever reason existence may have
Is beyond all human comprehension.
What keeps us going are ambitions,
Our wants and wishes,
And a life worth living.
My life isn’t without its share of hardships and loss.
Like all on Earth
I know the feeling.
If life is a quest,
And whether you agree or not
I think it is,
Then I quest for knowledge
For control over my decisions
And the outcome of my life;
To attain this I must first analyze my past decisions,
Keep my feet in the present,
And one eye on the future.
