A piercing howl in the night
The crescent moon shining bright
The night sky as dark day
The day when all falls away
The sound of running in the air
Terror in their hearts appear
Hiding in the darkness too
Lurks the fear of very few
The world collapsing all around them
Escaping from the ones behind ‘em
Every time looking around
Making sure they won’t be found
The cry is heard from miles away
Soothing those thought to be prey
No more running no more fear
The terror has disappeared
The night sky becoming light
The sun shining bright
Everything is coming together
Loving ones helping each other
More footsteps are heard from behind
Turning around to see what they find
The golden eyes striking light
Disappearing as is the night
Are the ones that helped them through
Are the wolves that guide them to
