It's quite pitiful
To write of such things
Lines which are forced, disingenuous
From some requirement I cannot explain
Must be some sick jealousy
For how you push it all out
For how you contradict my doubt
With warm outlooks
Wrapped in the simplicity of happiness
So I will continue to confuse you
With my frustration and failure
My loss of words
My tragic distance
Mistakes are falling
And flowing down your curves
Like cold, harsh drops of water
From the icicles of plenty
Spread 'round my resolve
Melting from your warmth
In this strange spring season
Useless to dream of possibilities
When they lie beyond my capacity
And beyond your tolerance
During the hours of your rest
And my selfish reflection

Quite an insightful write.
I can see elements of myself and relationships of the past in this poem. Great structure and very well worded. I certainly look forward to reading more of your poetry
