You see me Weeping, my soul crying to you still sleeping.
My Heart begging for your keeping.
You let things happen for a reason, for that i accused you of treason.
Ups and down like changing of the season.
I asked you why, hoping youd lie.
Trying to understand I'll try.
Sitting in a cell with no light, asking you to end me this night.
Solitary confinement of the mind.
Reading your word strength i would i would find.
Four walls, a bible, and endless light.
Dear lord keep me sane for 1 more night.
No sounds,no movement, my 8x10 hell.
I picked up your book for my time to dwell.
knowing inside Iam not well.
You told me to be patient, it will end.
7 more days till i see the sun again.
I speak to you as you were here, easing my heart, killing my fear.
No blanket, no pillow in a room so cold.
Times seems stopped, cuz father time is old.
11 days in a cage, so i owe it to you to write this page.
There is no ending cuz my life's still pending.

Wow, here's an emotional piece of work. Sounds like you've gone through things that have the potential, when used by His hand, to strengthen and teach like nothing else. Keep it up!
May your road rise up.

I don't care for religion or those books, but conversation with god is always interesting. Good work. |
