I'm building my wall
So you can't get through
and yes, my dear,
this means I'm breaking up with you
My heart falls a little each time
a tear does from your face
I long so much to mend the coming wounds
But it's impossible, the past few months of pain I can't erase
For a year and a half
you put me through hell
Despite the first six months
being all and well
Believe me when I say
a piece of my heart you'll always hold
But as for me, my dear
I think these games are getting gold
The blame is on me, I take all the fault
So yes, my dear, I will keep building my wall
