Oh, Vincent, Vincent why’d you have to go?
What the things you did became… I guess you’ll never know.
Your brother died when you took your life,
Oh how it hurt him so… poor Theo.
Oh, Vincent, Vincent why’d you have to go?
Oh Vincent, Vincent, the crazy Van Gough.
The eccentric genius, you were your own worst foe.
And did they make you cold… those asylum walls?
And was it loneliness… that stole your soul.
How sad it is, when the only colour you know,
Not your own, just inspired by *******,
Oh Vincent, Vincent, the crazy Van Gough.
Oh Vincent, Vincent, I know your heart was true.
And how lonesome can it be, when your own head tortures you.
Oh Vincent was that gun the one real solution for you,
And did the release of that trigger, finally release you?
Oh, Vincent, Vincent, I know your heart was true.
