Mom you said......

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 16th January 2003 @ 06:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Mom,
You said youd always be around,
But you are gone,
You said you would stay with me,
but you were wrong,
You use to tell me sweet stories,
I so loved to hear,
You use to tell me of your past,
that always gave me tears,
You told me I had a special gift,
that I could never see,
You said this would bring me happiness,
for the rest of eternity,
You told me mom, you were ready to go,
But I needed you to stay,
your pain on Earth hurt you so,
I can remember those days,
You promised I will be cared for,
all my worries will pass,
You gave me a smile & closed your eyes,
How I want that moment to last,
Mom, I know where you are,
Its a place I will some time be,
I know the place is far,
but in my dreams I can see,
I will forever take what youve given me,
and share it with the ones I love,
For your words I cherish ever more,
How lucky is God above!

A beautiful tribute and thank-you to your mom, LOWMAN. I wish I'd been able to write something as lovely as this piece for my mom. I believe somehow she is smiling with joy from this piece.
