There once was a cumbersome cub
in the drug down pride of a broken den.
He hunted with a bunch of country pups
who spent much of their time boasting.
Bursting with plans of going to wolves school
They made fun of the cub,
said he was too clumsy,
better find a trade more suited,
for his lazy brain and shaggy mane.
He would be foolish,
to try to go to wolves school.
Later he dreamed~
of a white horse with one horn,
Told the cub he was a king,
just born out of place.
Said to run to the river,
and take a long look at his face.
Where the current runs slow.
He saw the king the next morning,
down where whirlpools
swirl around the corner.
Now those dogs who once were pups
talking so bold of wolf’s school,
Tuck their tails and run for home~
When they here that lion
)))ROAR(((
As seasons unfold so does
the kingdom of golden manes,
with all pride set aside
for family game *~thrive~*
Where the river runs slow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometimes on clear nights,
they hear those lonely dogs.
Begging the moon,
for all that time they lost
sight of themselves
at wolves school.
It all boils down to self-esteem in the end. Great story. All the dreams in the world won't make it in life if you don't have the wherewithall to work at it. Great story.
