Shipwrecked on this isle of dreams
Escape is hopeless, so it seems
Imprisoned in this world of hate
Loneliness has locked his gate
Blinded by reality
Seeing what he wants to see
His whole world revolves around lies
No one seems to hear his cries
Over crowded in his mind
New memories leave old behind
Looking back at his old fears
Endless days filled with tears
Darkness now falls with every thought
For love is all he ever sought
Moods drift in with the tide
Always the same, deep inside
