my 9-11 metaphor sort of

morning past, afternoon came
all was still the same
my twins went out to play
just as they did evry day
i watched them run
soon it was dinner time the day was almost done
two cars began to street race
they came up at a fast pace
my twins were sitting in the street
they both jumped to their feet
they tried to run from their fate
but it was already too late
one car hit one of my twins
the other hit my second twin, leaving me sitting in my sins
they were both taken away from me
all went as fast as can be
i discovered the men who killed them lived two blocks away
that made my day
i got my block together
we vowed to fight throught any weather and forever
the men did the same
so, overblocks we came
the war began
ev
ery one kept their vow, nobody ran
we all fought
it's been four years and we're still fighting, but this is what they asked for, so they got
