I dreamt of an angel, yes it’s true,
Actually she looked just like you,
As for her name,
Well… that was even the same,
I dreamt of an angel, so proud and true,
She looked just like you,
This angel so beautiful, beaming of virtue,
Her eyes of the same majestic blue,
I dreamt of an angel, I thought it was you,
She came to me baring promises of love anew and relieving me of this pain,
I dreamt of an angel, I almost believed it was you,
Only this angel promised that with me she shall always remain,
I dreamt of angel, yes it’s true,
I dreamt of an angel, I just wish it was you

| You could have kept just forst two sections, it seems complete in itself, rest of it kind of takes away that honest beauty and simplicity of it. |

| I disagree with the comment about leaving only the top 2 verses...you're implying something much deeper so it need those last 2 verses to complete the meaning. |
