Ever so gently do I place in
A box
Some trivial trinkets
Some qualms, some thoughts
But they'll never unfasten this
My lock
And may God forbid should they ever find
The key!
For if they do, they shall behold
That within this box lies
A lie untold
Yet, I am in a predicament, you see
For I myself have lost
The key!
It is best, nonetheless, that
It
Is lost
For who deigns to look within
A darkling box?

Cool rhyme. I just hope that you find the key & open up that box cuz that could make for some cool poetry. By the way, welcome to YPDC! |
