Oh Hurricane Katrina!

The invisible storm approached,
Arriving full blown without sympathy,
All sorts of people being summoned,
It’s a comparison to Sodom and Gomorrah,
A city known for its laid back and music,
Happiness filled in air all year long,
City known for parties and tourist,
Oh New Orleans!
What city have you become?
The aftermath was unpredictable,
Pictures on TV cannot express the empathy,
Katrina overtook the city’s life,
Hundreds of people dying,’
Thousands of people being evacuated,
The water consuming around the city,
No words can explain the suffering,
On a hundred degree weather,
Oh Great New Orleans!
The heritage will never be the same,
With time we await too see.
