I’m sorry for:
The pain I’ve caused,
the wounds will not heal,
the scars I’ve left,
and the time I’ve taken.

I have loved
but now I must,
lose that love.
To gain for you,
something much more.

I’m sorry for:
The pain I’ve caused,
the wounds will not heal,
the scars I’ve left,
and the time I’ve taken.

Now that time is up
and the words are said.
I must remove myself,
so that you may live.

I’m sorry for:
The pain I’ve caused,
the wounds will not heal,
the scars I’ve left,
and the time I’ve taken.

For now my love,
we must say ado.
For as the time passed,
I have found.
That in my love,
There is so much pain
and cryin’ and after that
probably a lot of dyin’.

I love you with all my heart and so that is
why I must say ado for now so that later
we can pick up the pieces and live together
forever as we have imagined.

Methinks there is a lot of maturity behind this piece. I found it powerful, and very worth reading. May the road rise up.
