Tears

Contributed by jaycee on Thursday, 8th September 2005 @ 03:08:23 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

just driving to work
like any other day
tears roll down my cheek
why i can't say

life may not be great
that much i do know
but with no catalyst
why do these tears flow

moving on with life
i dismiss this event
but a couple days later
lacrimal glands will vent

to those that are sane
they don't understand
that losing control
wasn't what was planned

philosphically i wonder
what sanity must be
although i can say
it hasn't visited me

my blood is too sweet
it's something i ate
last year i was 90
but now 328

an emotional cripple
having lived too many years
the causes are many
for the river of tears

I am sorry but I didn't understand what this poem is about. Some rhymes are visibly forced.

I am sorry to hear you have diabetes, a serious disease . The good news is its treatable. Hang in there, and take care of your self, (sugar free brownies)
