Close your eyes and imagine a pretty house in a hot country
An enchanting garden, multihued fragrant flowers and juicy exotic fruit
Pomegranates, Barbary figs and spicy olives
Acacia trees, palm trees… and fig trees…
Three juvenile sisters playing “Cowboys and Indians”
Climbing up the fig tees, dreaming they are in their tepees
The eldest is called “Red Purple”; the youngest is called “Blue Pink”
And my name is “Little Big Woman”…
“Dinnertime!”
The three little girls rush home, wash their hands, lay the table, sit down and start eating their soup, giggling and pretending they are having Red Indian food…
“Mum Big Chief” looks somewhat perplexed…
“Dad Funny Guy” winks at us…
