Galaxy of Dreams

Contributed by Live4TheMoment on Wednesday, 7th September 2005 @ 01:22:15 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Breaking the rules
And flying so high
I soar through clouds
Only to fall
Crashing to the ground
But no one sees me
Falling to my death
Then I remember
This is just a dream
But still I crash
Leaving my body behind
My spirit reaches the clouds
And gazes at the moon
I reach for the stars
But am greeted by blood
Blood from the moon beams
And tears from the stars
I look at the galaxy
And am soon asking Why?
Is this still a dream
Or am I really dead?
No matter what the outcome
Don't wake me
This world is mine
The galaxy of crying stars
And moon beams of blood
Don't wake me
This is the realest thing I've ever dreamed

good write and yet discribes the reality of a dream and how it can honestly make us question if it's real or just an illusion

Wow that's incredibly sad...and somehow relatable too. Emotive, good job.

woah....vivid conveyence of a dark and sombre dream...

I like the way you pleaded to be left in your dream.....even though it was dark, sometimes dreams can be more comforting than REALITY.
