If asked a week ago,
I would have told you that the salty smell of the ocean was relaxing,
but now it seems slightly nausiating.
It drives me crazy,
and makes my body quake home.
Mearly days ago,
the palm trees of paridise were inviting,
but now it seems as if they're pointing me back to from where I came.
Hostility's leaving,
and I cant wait until I can join it.

Flee that madness! Heh. I grew up in California, but hated going to the beach, much as I love the ocean.
Southwestern Oregon is a much better place.
I did like this; simple, but expressive.

Yeah, familiar surroundings bring me back to sanity too, when I've been away for a long time. |
