A SON LOVE

Contributed by SPOKENWORDARTIST on Tuesday, 6th September 2005 @ 04:08:12 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

VENGENCE BE MINE I SPEW AT THE AIR AND THE WORLD FOR DEATH HAS STRICKEN ME ILL WITH GRIEF.

SORROW HAS HARDENED THE THUMP THAT BEATS WITHIN MY CHEST LIKE AN ANHOR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA OF SOULS DESPAIR.

EYES BURN AND BURST FROM THE FLOW OF EMOTION THAT WASHES MY FACE IN HORROR OF A LIFE LOST TO AN EARLY DEPARTURE WHERE MY CREATIONS BEGAN WITH THE FEATURES OF HER LOCK WITHIN MINE.

TRAMPLED EMOTION OF SHOULD OF COULD OF SAVED HER TIRE THE MINDS WONDERLESS PATH OF UNEXCEPTABLE CHANGE WITH RAPID EXHAUSTION.

AND YET A CALM EMBRACES ME LIKE THE FACES OF THE POLAR OF REST
HERE TO SAY FAREWELL TO A FRIEND A TREMENDOUS SPIRIT THAT TOOK THE LIVES OF MANY.

SHE'S HERE IN SOME WAY I SIGH WITH MOMENTARY RELIEF DEEP WITHIN SHE LIVES ON IN ME.

HER SPIRIT TOUCHES THE SOUL OF HER GRANDCHILDREN WITH REMINDERS OF MY CHILDHOOD IN THE SUBTLE THINGS THEY DO HER WAY.

THIS IS NOT THE END BUT THE BEGINNING OF BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF HER LIFE.
