Everything In The World

The tears run down my cheeks
For what feels like the millionth night in a row.
I've just left a crowd of friends
But I feel so alone.
All the happy music in the world
Can't help me escape the pain I feel.
The anger courses through my veins
It never seems to go away.
Everyone else was so happy
Even I smiled and laughed.
All the screaming my voice could take
Won't release the frustration I feel.
The words flow out of my pen
It's the only way I can let out how I truly feel inside.
No one understand
How confusing my life is.
All the ink in the world
Couldn't express the emotions I'm experiencing.

This seems like an abstract poem more than emotional. You bounce around many emotions yes, but there is no real direction. I hope you can get a handle on this. |
