Am I really to blame?

So confused on how to feel.
What were once truths are now questions.
Where is my crystal ball to give me all the answers?
Shattered to pieces on the floor.
But maybe it can be put back together
Like my heart has been many times already.
For now I wander,
As my mind would on a cool starry night,
Looking for answers to questions unasked
Or unknown.
Where is my guiding star?
It has disappeared, burnt out,
Like the nightlight which was put out to protect me
From monsters which surely lurked in the depths of the darkness
Now those monsters emerge from hiding,
Gathering around me to laugh at my torment.
When in a room of mirrors, where can I go
To hide from the eyes of the enemy,
The eyes which are my very own,
These eyes which are pained and unforgiving?
No where, for they are forever there,
Watching me, blaming me.
All my fault, they say.
No matter where I look,
The eyes silently scream it,
As if I didn't already know...
