Sometimes when im alone I think of everything that's wrong in my life.
Sometimes I bleed so much that it scares me.
Sometimes I pretent that the cuts dont hurt.
And sometimes when everythings a mess i wonder if it's all worth it.
Sometimes i look at the sharp things, but turn away.
Sometimes i just can't.
Somedays i worry about the future.
Somedays i dont give a *****.
Somedays I love being alive..
And somedays i think of ways to end my life.
Somedays i look at all the pretty people and wonder why?
Somedays i can't wait to say goodbye.
Somenights i dream that im Alright.
Somenights I cry myself asleep.
And somenights I pretend im in his arms.
Somenights i think of leaving this place.
Somenights I take all the makeup off my face.
One night i wrote a letter to my mom.
The next night I promised i'd be gone.
I told the one i loved that lived so far away,
I'd find a way to be with him no matter what they say.
I told him that i'd get on a plane
And nothing would ever have to be the same.
But that never happened...
And i sometimes say what if?...
Somedays im glad it didn't.
But somenights i wish it did.

You are alright. Any normal person feels like this all the time. The 'perfect' people just hide it, thinking that showing their emotions somehow makes them weaker. Truth is they fear they might not be able to understand their heart, they fear what they might find inside. Dream on, and bare your heart, on paper, if nothing else.
Take care,
David |
