lost shadow

Lost shadow
It use to follow me wherever I go
Now it is here no more
It use to mock my every move
Like it had something to prove

But its here no more
Where is my shadow I loved before
It use to play a dog or a dove to lift my mood
Always my friend when I wasn’t feeling good

A dark figure but a friend more or less
Always there for me he was truly the best
He was either in front of me to guide the way
Or behind me cause he was afraid

But no matter what he was my friend
With a little bit of light he would stand to the end
Now his gone I weep with sorrow
Goodbye shadow see you tomorrow
