Exceptence

Contributed by curtisc on Monday, 5th September 2005 @ 12:16:35 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I'm beginning to lose touch with the feelings I once felt,
I think it has just been a little too long.
I've battled through the cards I have been dealt,
kept my spirts up and managed to stay strong.

This is not what I had expected not long ago,
but this is just the way things went.
I guess our relationship had reached its plateau,
went over the edge and began its descent.

It's hard to think about not being with you,
but that's how it's looking to be.
For a while I didn't know what I was going to do,
but I've realized I still have so much ahead of me.

I'll always have a place for you inside of my heart,
because to me you still mean so very much.
Maybe someday we won't be apart,
and we'll again feel each others loving touch.

*****For a while I didn't know what I was going to do,
but I've realized I still have so much ahead of me.

Very nice self awareness here

*****Maybe someday we won't be apart,
and we'll again feel each others loving touch.

Nice topic for words presented and last two lines show hope, if not for a mended relationship, but for yourself..

Your sense of feelings reshape your emotional field within.

Very nice, your voice speaks to your heart in this write.
