They passed,
your hands,
like rain upon my thoughts,
and if only my eyes,
my eyes,
and my hair,
could make out the illusion
that's between us,
what happened
was discovering me
in a place beside you.
I sat,
like a lover for you,
shy but sure,
where to go?I didn't know.
So,hands interlaced,
I threw ash
upon those eyes.
I didn't want to see,
I didn't want to understand.
