Falling into night's embrace
Cloacking me in a shroud of sorrow
Mournful winds sing a sad tune
Of unreturned love
A mirror myself
A life of sadness
Of wanting the one thing I cannot have
Flashes before my woeful eyes
My life
Such love for him I feel
But love unreturned is all i'm given
Dreams full of him fill my hopeful mind
Alas that is all that they are
For when I handed you my heart on a silver platter,
It was thrown back in my face
Broken into pieces
Never to be fixed by your love
A sad thing it is
A love unreturned

| no matter how broken a heart may be love is always the cure even if it might not be with the person you wish, there is love for everyone....good poem keep it up |

"Unreturned" -is an intricate collection of meaningful personifications, vivid-figurative language and reflective metaphors.
An account of life, love-tragedy, one could very much so emote and relate with.
