It seems that I’m starting to fall again
Beneath the excitement now and then
A shadow, a hail of wearisome feelings
This pain, it hits me and I’m reeling
Nothing to do, this atmosphere is tainted
The scene is lost, the heaven I painted
Sweet summer’s taste, stale on my lips
Everything else, cold on my fingertips
The clock is sporting many hands
The seconds drags, as if it never lands
Looking for my cure in all of the wrong places
Searching for a certain light in hundreds of faces
All it takes is a minute with you
And all of the world can continue to do
What it does everyday, what it does to the time
We’ll watch the clouds shift. It’ll be sublime
It’s been 2 hours, but I know that can’t be true
Because all of this time I’ve been walking with you
Why has the time gone so suddenly fast?
Why is it that moments like this cannot last?
So today is finally ending and tomorrow will come soon
More tedious moments, morning, night and noon
I only wish that time would stop and that you would stay
Because tomorrow will bring another monotonous day

Not boring in the least......a beautiful write!!!!
Great rhyming style and heart warming and (sometimes sad) content....but a total success!!
And I can relate to your feelings...(time is non-existent when you are with the one you love)
