more than the bird would her feathers
or the fuel tank its gas
or the light bulb its filament
or the window frame its glass
I miss you
more than Solo would his Princess
or the trees would its leaves
or the ocean its life
or the summer day its breeze
I miss you
more than candy cane its stripes
or the wallet its cash
or the symphony its music
or the camera its flash
I miss you
more than the heart its blood
or the lungs its clean air
i would give it all up
for a single moment to share
I miss you

awww.... good write, jaycee. i liked it even though it's sad. and your pain will stay for quite awhile. but i'm sorry, my friend, you'll have to move on. i do hope that you are healed in some sort of way, but you'll have to go through the pain first. i am sorry. i care about you really, i do, so don't even think about hurting yourself! okay? well, take care & keep up the great work!
