Blinded

Contributed by Drewsephire on Wednesday, 15th January 2003 @ 01:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

They can reveal and hide
They are where all my fears subside
I cannot explain the way they make me feel
Except to say this cannot be real

In her eyes I see beauty and strengths
And all I can say is thanks
Thanks for my one shot I had with you
To love you as mush as your eyes are blue

Afraid to reveal my innermost thoughts
For the pain it would not clot
To let the heart see
What could not be

I try to look once more
But the beautiful eyes must be sore
For when I tried to catch a look
In that split second they were shut like a book

But I cannot look anymore
For my heart will hit the floor
For the beauty and strength I saw before
Can only break my heart once more

Your poem made me cry hunny! Such a great love it sound like you had, she is stupid to not be with you anymore. Good-luck next time!
