True Love and Romance

Contributed by Bruce on Tuesday, 30th August 2005 @ 03:21:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

True Love and Romance

How often to you think about
a True Love and Romance
Hoping and praying, that you
someday will have the chance

To meet and fall in love
finding your true love with Romance
and know it in your heart
from that very first glance

How wonderful is that feeling
if you were the lucky one
To have found your true love
and your new life had just begun

Having waited many years
for that eventful day to arrive
Every emotion in your body
has now become alive

Nothing more need be said
as happiness, is now in your life
Having become,an enchanting husband
or a bewitching wife

Bruce this is so beautifully written....makes me remember that first love that many years ago with...my hubby... I still love him but this poem reminds me how new and fresh it all was! And how it can keep continuing on...

It's what we all yearn for right? Nice job with this write. It had a light, pleasant vibe to it, and the fourth stanza was my favourite.

Wouldn't it be fantastic. I found it once. I think that is what I will ask for for Christmas. Do you want me to put in a good word for you too? I like this sweet write.

Blessings,
Rita

A very nicely done poem Bruce.

I agree with every word you just said. Sometimes we could only dream for a love like this.

How wonderful is that feeling
if you were the lucky one
To have found your true love
and your new life had just begun

Love that line....

Jane~
