A thousand days
A thousand nights
A thousand shades of gray
A thousand lives as yet untouched
A thousand lives unsaved
A thousand tears to drown the world
A thousand eyes to weep
A thousand souls condemn themselves
To everlasting sleep
A thousand chances left in turn
A thousand babies cry
A thousand mortals left to burn
A thousand left to die
A thousand hopes
A thousand dreams
A thousand worlds ablaze
A thousand looks come from one eye
A thousand wasted days
A thousand dawns, begin anew
A thousand promises to keep
A thousand more, a thousand new
A thousand Heavens left to reap
