I kindness really gentle
or just a lazy alibi?
Better to leave them with a smile
than to watch a wide eye cry.
A word can slice or heal in many different ways.
I'm sorry, I forgive you
What will it be today?
Silken shades of anger
are much crueler than a slap.
So save your kind words for the rest
Your honesty is what I love best.
