I'm Innocent!

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Wednesday, 15th January 2003 @ 11:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Where were you today,
searching the web,
Who E mailed you today,
A guy he dreads!

He doesnt understand,
Jelous he is,
Like I would want another man,
whats up with this,

I only want him in my life,
I tell him every day,
I will forever be his wife,
come what may,

So If I talk to a guy friend,
thats all it really is,
I dont want our love to end,
I'll forever be his,

Who is that,whats his name?
why is he E-mailing you?
Is this some sort of a game,
What am I going to do?

He checks to see where I've been on the web,
Than listens to what I say,
Imagining things in his head,
What have you done all day?

On Ypdc as innocent as can be,
Thats where I've been all day,
cleaning clothes,watching t.v,
Hanging with the kids at play,

My life is all but a bore,
how could he be like this,
I never do nothing more,
its him I sit & miss!

So I'm here to tell you hun,
I love only you,
Ypdc is just my FUN,
Its all I have to do,

The ones I talk to on the site,
are just friends you see,
Your the one I miss all nite,
And talk about on YPDC!

This one took my by surprise wow...after all you write and the way you show your feelings towards your family....he has nothing to worry about....perhaps he could sit down and really read your poetry Christina and show him what all you have written for him....but understanding is that poetry is shared with people...men/women/teens/and even children sometimes...the love i've seen that you have for your mother caused you to be my inpspiration in a very deep way....the love i've seen that you have for your father caused me to cry because i've never had one....the love i've seen you have for your children makes me want to try harder as a mother to do better ....and the love that i've seen that you have for your husband makes me want to love and be loved again...and this hurts...because it's so hard sometimes in relationships that without the communication....there's where the terrible arguing starts....there has to be communication and understanding of one another's feelings....your love for your family is so great ...it pains me to think jealousy could harm anything as strong as your marriage is...and i know you both will over come this....may peace lay upon the both of you....

i understand.. but now that he is traveling he is insecure also...show him the poems you have written for him that should put his mind to rest...Also send a poem with him the next time he leaves. I finally showed my husband the poems I wrote 13 years ago when he traveled. they made him cry. Don't wait.

Jealousy often rears it head but it has a white lining as well, for jealousy is a sign that the person actually cares about and wants you for themselves. Still one must be careful as showing too much jealousy can push away the one they love.

I hope your hubby can find a balance somewhere in the middle. Perhaps these words will help.

Best of luck.

This is a very touching poem Christina. I hope your hubby understands that you aren't doing anything wrong. Keep your chin up. *S* Cynthia
