As you lie there in pain, hurting as you are
Our hearts go out to you, whether we are near or far
No matter what our differences have been until this day
We get down on our knees, every night and pray
Asking God to ease your pain, and to hold your hand
No matter where you go, no matter where you land
Your life is oh so precious, we love you Mom we do
We know that there are times, that you think this isn’t true
But whether or not we've talked,. or if we saw each other
t will never change the fact, that we love you our dear mother
Your time is growing short, as your life it slips away
So I am asking God to guide you, each and every day
To let you go, where pain you'll feel no more
And paradise you'll find, as you enter through that door
Mom you taught us all, that God had intended to
Be shown upon your children ,so they know what to do
Lessons in life, are what you tried to teach us all
Some of us may stand, and some of us may fall
But what you gave to us, will always be right here
Whether you are far, or whether you are near
So go on knowing this, we will be ok
And you will be with Dad, each and everyday
Walking through out life, with you in our hearts
Has made us what we are, and never will it part
So mom go walk that path, that brings you to your love
And be with Dad and God in Heaven up above
Don't fight this anymore, just close your eyes and go
For this is what is best, and this we know is so
We'll say our goodbyes now, please know we all love you
We'll miss you even more, but mom this you must do
We will hold your hand, as you leave us here today
To go to a better place, and be with God to stay
Mom we'll be ok ,we want what’s best for you
Your tired and your weak, for this we know is true
Your always in our hearts, and this you know is best
We love you mom now please, go with God and rest!!

A very meaningful and beautiful as well as an emotional write. This is a wonderful tribute to your mother. What a wonderful expression of love to share with your mother, as she approaches death.....to go to a better place.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful poem

Very touching and sad...but also knowing that this is the way that sometimes God heals suffering. I finally accepted that after I grew up. My dad died when I was eight. I did not understand that then and for many years to come. This poem has touched my heart and I give my sympathy for your loss but also give you high regards that you knew and maybe even reluctantly knew, yet never the less knew she would no longer be suffering.
Very touching awesome write.
