~~~~~
Mother Nature roars again
With heavy rain and pounding wind
As the eye reaches shore
What was there will be no more
Buildings tumble into piles of rock
Trees tipped over on their bark
Debris forms missiles in the air
Anything left standing it will tear
Nature’s fury at its best
Putting all levies to the test
Rising water and electric down
Threatens all on the ground
I pray for safety and for claim
To all who are so alarmed
May God protect them from this storm
Whose power is above the norm
