You're locked up.
You have no feeling of control.
You're now stuck.
Digging youself deeper in that hole.
You're going crazy.
You will never have the things you had before.
You're not lazy.
But you'll never know if you could've been something more.
You'll sit there.
Your family and friends will move on.
It's not fair.
According to them you're gone.
The world grows.
But you remain the same.
Because everyone knows
That you lost the game.

It's hard not to feel like everyone else has got it all figured out and that you are somehow behind the pack. But whether they admit it or not, just about everyone has feelings of insecurity about some aspect of their life. Good poem, and a great description of these issues. |

A thought provoking look at the doubt that comes calling for us all at one time or another.
A good write,
wordsy.
