As She Feeds

Topic: DarkPoetry

You can feel as she feeds,
Inside your mind insanity breeds,
Taking over your soul and heart,
Tearing your skin right apart.

The hunger lies deep within,
The blood lust like a cardinal sin,
The wanting the needing and the thirst,
You feel it as your sanity bursts.

She feeds on the weakness of others,
Killing at random not running for cover,
Defiant to her very last breath,
She smells of sweet and sickly death.

The blood lust drives her killing spree,
As surrounded by death she feels free,
She finds great peace in taking ones life,
Her weapon of choice not a gun or a knife.

The weapon she uses is her dark gift,
She hurts deep inside as her hunger shifts,
Driving her to kill once again,
For when she is killing she feels no pain.

Great job, and a rather honest, introspective write too...Sometime's it can feel like we're our own worst enemie's, can't it? Very good emotive piece.
Stay positive: )

This is a good, dark piece Pixie. There's something very disturbing about it that sends a chill down the spine.

There's also a nice flow that keeps the reader rolling along, concentrating not on the exact words they are reading, but more on the dark imagery which is conjoured up in the mind.

On a scale of 1 to 10 this is somewhere in the region of a 15!

Nice one!
