Embrace the night so that it keeps you,
Hold away as darkness falls,
Pray for morning that I sleep true,
Heed no warnings or their calls,

My nights are filled with dreams and wonder,
Perfect people on my walls,
Sunrise close with with beams asunder,
Closing eyes as my head falls,

Thoughts of perfect love and living,
Abandon now these thoughts are still,
Breaking now my love it's killing,
The empty souls, I've had my fill.

Haunting. I really liked this poem!
