Standing on the edge of time, I slowly close my eyes
About to grow much calmer, about to grow more wise
I hear the waves keep pounding, around and far below
My past life stands before me, within the tides swift flow
The castle is so near me,it's stood the test of time
And deep within my heart I know my past is intertwined
The howling wind now calls me, a voice so full and strong
I feel the pull within my soul that tells me I belong
I kneel within the ruins and feel such peace within
A place of perfect harmony,a presence strokes my skin
I hear the sound of welcome,I wait here not alone
I'm happy and content now, for at last I've returned home

Beautifully penned with a deep spiritual feeling to it. It is always nice to find that feeling of knowing where you belong. I really loved this write.

An awesome write. The words flowed like sparkling water down a sweet glade, cool and refreshing. Very nice imagery. |

You show skill with rhyme and rhythm here, and the theme is pleasing and refreshing. The name, Tintagel, itself, is poetry. I have always admired it.
Keep it up.
