Forgotten here
Labelled society's offender
Refused to forget my utopian expectations
Dreams surround my hollow transcender
Nothing but a game on the jester's floor
These fools who dance to conformity's song
Craving acceptance in a sleepless world
Although the same music never plays for long
The forsaken's cry ignored and never answered
Who can save me from this place?
Will the dream's rescuer unmask himself...
Or will I never know his face?
The monster's face pressed against the glass
Tapping to awaken the 'beast' inside
These crystal walls sheltering this dreamer's world
This harsh reality weighs on the soul's divide.
The moment's music now changed once more
Let these dreams be my personal sin
I refused to the fool's current song
In this idealist's reality, forgotten here once again

A very good poem, I understand what you are trying to say, I know what you are trying to get out. Keep up the good writing. SLipSiX. |
