The passing rain just let up.
The sky always seems prettier after the clouds disappear.
I look at you and I've never felt happier.
When I walk over to you I pretend that I haven't noticed my legs have given way.
Your shirt's a little big, I know that when I squeeze my arms into the sleeves,
We're together,
If only for the moment.
I searched for you, and now
I'm in love.
I can't hide it anymore.
I want to us to be.
I wish my summer wish would come true.
Sitting with you we watched the droplets bead on our glasses,
we watched them drip onto the polariods we took too many of.
Time went by so fast,
we had such a good time.
Which only makes my walk home lonely.
I'm in love, painfully so.
My racing heart is beating so loud I'm sure I can't hide it.
I want you to understand my summer wish.
and I touched the rain
I'm in love
I can't hide this racing heart of mine.
At last we met,
I dreamed of it.
My summer wish,
always in my dreams.

That was sweet. A summer romance, been a long time since I had one
of those. I thought this was a kind of neat poem in it's kind of slow motion
story. Nice job.
