So much pretending
Everything is so fake
I fall asleep angry
And feel the same when I wake

Why can’t you just be you
And let me just be me
Don’t be ashamed
Let the world look and see

Don’t act like something your not
Don’t just say what wants to be heard
All it does is deceive those around you
Just the thought of it all is absurd

Just stop paying this endless game
Put the book back up on the shelf
Be true to those around you
Just Be true to yourself

Hmmm, you know what? Your poems are very good.

I have been following them, and though I haven't always commented, I can tell you are growing in your writing.

I really like this.

I like the last two lines on the first stanza a lot, and I'm not exactly sure why, but I do anyway. :P

The message here is very good, and the rhyme and the flow work well.
