Standing outside the window
Looking in on life
Innuendo and self realization
Deeply cuts this knife
Numerous rivers to cross
Countless bridges to burn
To many days lost in thought
Wondering when will it be my turn
Another burden to ponder
While I yearn for my souls release
I wander aimlessly through the elements
Will this madness ever cease
So I stand before this window
A haunted empty shell
Looking in at life
While I linger in this wretched Hell

You are not alone:
Times of loneliness come and trap us
in sorrows and pain that silences laughter
that is when I need to get away
Find a quiet place to write
read a book or sometimes pray,
and if I don't pray I talk to myself
so that I can learn to help some one else. |
