I walk alone
taking my time
I need no one,
life is a tease
got me on my knees
and I'm pretending...
pretending
I'm in control
and I know what's gonna happen,
so I stay
instead of running away
my pride keeps me in pain.
I'm hanging with the crew
acting like I got a clue
I'm good at this game you never know I am Insane ,
look you in the eye
give you that fake smile
when all the time
I
just wanna get away.
Confusion of a lost soul
wondering
what's really happening,
so tired of pretending
to understand.
Reflections of my face
Insanely smiling
is haunting
as I walk away
alone.

| Okay this is too close. You have to read my poem called I walk alone. Your poem has a different meaning than mine and your verses do not flow as cleanly but that is okay. You wrote a good poem which comes from your heart. You don't have to read my poem unless you want to. |

I do know alone and can tottaly relate but I'm alone by choice.
