The Eternal Tear

Contributed by THEL0STDREAMER on Monday, 22nd August 2005 @ 10:59:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Never again,
that's what she said when she saw him fade away.
Never again,
that's what she thought when he left her that day.

She knew it was coming,
she could feel it in her heart.
She didn't think it could have such a bloody end,
when it had such a happy start.

Somehow, she knew he wouldn't
be at her side for too long.
She knew it, but couldn't believe it
with his heart is where hers will always belong.

No, he hadn't loved her like she wanted...
He loved her more.
Yes, he'd closed that window to her world,
but then he opened a door.

He opened the door to a place
she'd never seen nor known.
He opened the door that showed her
she was never truly alone.

Now he soars high above the clouds,
taking away her every fear.
At an age young as eighteen,
when he died, she cried the eternal tear.

I truly liked this poem, it is so sad yet so beautiful.

"No, he hadn't loved her like she wanted...
He loved her more.
Yes, he'd closed that window to her world,
but then he opened a door."

Best part!!!
