Questioning You

Contributed by xXx_Fem_Fatale_xXx on Monday, 22nd August 2005 @ 03:25:45 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

Why do you fall back asleep
When you are like a dream come true?

Why do I need you to love me,
When I know you cant love me?

Why do you think you know me wants and needs
When you dont even know the true me?

Why are you still hungry for more
When everything is handed on a silver plate?

Why did you fell in love and concidered to marry me,
When you know we arent destined to be?

Why do I see the sun shining on a Summer day,
When it is your words that bring a cruel Winter shade

Why did you leave your scent in the room
When you know it will remind me of you?

Why do you say I moved too fast
When all I had is patience?

Why did you gave me a ring of love
When the enscription meant nothing to you?

Why is your face still reflecting in the mirror
When all I have left is the ghost of you?

Why do you say you want to be friends
When you make me feel avoided and ignored?

Why should I hurt with your vision in sight
When I'm just another memory to you

Why are you still lingering in me mind
When all I do is Questioning You?

~~ Nats ~~

You write 'em out and maybe one day you'll still remember them when the answer does arrive ... usually I get the answers long after I forgot what the heck the question was ... or I have moved on to another more inportant one.

Nice bit of mental releasing for later use, perhaps.

Another great piece Nat and it's good to see you writing our your frustrations.
Life is a series of questions, some of them never get answered, it is all part of the tapestry of our being.
Good luck in finding your answers.

Steve

Well, I personally think that these aren't " Just" questions...they are great questions. This is a great poem and wow, can I really relate to it. I believe you expressed yourself very well in this write in question form. It appears at least you know some of the answers already; for instance the question regarding you being made to feel "avoided and ignored". Probably because this person was avoiding you and ignoring you. However, there are people out there that will listen to your questions and answer them. Hope yoiur dream some day comes true. :)

Take care,

Tim
