Too scared to die

Contributed by Flyinglow on Monday, 22nd August 2005 @ 12:45:14 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Too sad to live
Too scared to die
Dreams full of fears
and days full of lies

Lots of work to do
But I haven’t started
How can I write?
When I’m detached, departed?

Cant sleep all night
Too scared of death
Will it be later?
Or choke on the next breath?

I think that i'm drowning
But I know that i’m falling
Just sittin' at home
No one comes a’ calling

I’ve been dead for 3 years now
From pain deep inside
Will it get stronger?
Or will it subside?

Why must this continue?
Every night, every day
You really don’t love me
Despite what you say

Your heads full of lies
And so are your words
Forgive and forget
That’s just for the birds

Maybe later you'll learn
But you probably won’t
You never get close
Who wants that, I don’t

JUST MY INSIGHT!
it seems like you work hard to find rhyming words, I dont know if you knowticed in my poems but they rarly rhym, I just wanted to say that you dont always have to rhym your words for it to be poetry.
Good job and every poem that you creat will be better then your last.
