pensive smile
a night on tiles
searing pain
creeping onto a previous strain
piquant taste
or just another tweenage phase?
so fun pretending to be a pipsqueak
never mind that we had not enough sleep
running fast and really quick
we just blame it on another adventurous streak
hormones racing
another chocolate craving
eyes are batting
somewhere inside, hearts are throbbing
pursed mouth
they called us ignorant child
were we?
we were
I guess
