Logos dreamer alone in her room,
Digging through her past
mind cluttered by useless thoughts
And memories she’ll leave alone.
She sees the changes made
For better or worse.
The path goes forward
never back.
For years the light was out.
Now rekindled she tends to it with care.
The darkness was so cold
Behind a locked door.
The broken mend stronger
But scars take long to fade,
cracks show light and bring warmth.
What a price to pay.
Worth more than dreamer knows.

| succinct yet poignant and insightful. i must admit that there are some aspects of this poem that I really don't fully understand. nevertheless, superb. |
