I’m nothing more than a common man
Had nothing but a simple plan
I have nothing more than common thoughts
Had my several moments of being distraught
I have led nothing more than a common life
But I’m pleased to say I shared it with a loving wife
My name may not be well known
But in my eyes I am a King sitting on my throne
I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul
And to me, that has always been my ultimate goal
